Im so glad you found your way here, I’m Angelica, and I’m here to share not just tips and tricks for sustainable living and mindfulness, but also my own journey—a journey marked by struggles, triumphs, and everything in between. I live with my beloved family; Fredrik and our two boys Loui and Vince, and our labradoodle Elvis, outside of Oslo, the capital of Norway. We are currently looking for our third home to buy and renovate, a demanding and rewarding process that we have started to love. Our current home was actually an old kindergarten, and we fell in love with the house and the area. This has been our home for a year, and we have transformed the house completely! For our next home, Im hoping to be able to share more ways of creating a sustainable home, a place of harmony and more DIY projects.

You see, I’m no stranger to anxiety, overwhelm, and self-doubt. Im a complete introvert and I truly prefer to be alone. All of this has been a constant companion on my path through life, and to creating this blog. I am working towards learning how to embrace my imperfections and share them with you openly and honestly. It was only a couple of years ago, that I discovered gardening, and it has since then become my happy place, where I can relax and let go, and it is nothing else than purely therapeutic for my soul. I also love to include my kids in the work and create projects together as a family. 🌸
During my twenties I have studied and lived abroad, in New Zealand, Canada and Denmark. I am a seamstress, and sewing is a huge passion of mine and a big part of who I am. I did a lot of sewing for my kids when they were babies, and for our home, as well as for our dog. I recently started a company called House of Hounds, where I design and create sustainable and vegan dog accessories and supplies. It is company that I am very proud of, and it aligns so well with my love for animals, my passion for creating, and my ethical values in regards to the environment and animal welfare 🐾🌿 We currently only do shipment to Norway, but I am working to expand this cute little company of mine, and hopefully enter the global market in the near future 🌎 Please visit our website if you are curious about our products: https://houseofhounds.no
Through my struggles with anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt, I’ve come to realize that true strength lies in vulnerability, and true connection comes from authenticity.
